Life has been pretty crazy the past couple months.  It is crazy to think that a year ago I was sitting waiting for a broken leg to heal...since that time I have spent a summer running with my beau, his girls, and my family.  It has been whirlwind from Illinois State Fair and amusement rides, to taking in St Louis sites, a trip to Ireland and soon Oregon and Washington for major outdoor sun.  I can't wait to see the girls and put my toes in the Pacific Ocean. I am working on many projects...a lot are textile painting for the girls in my family.   I am living to the max and enjoying every minute with the people I love.  you see I died twice la

It is amazing to me that I have been back to work for 2.5 months.  I am a little disappointed that I have not been able to do as much art work as I would like.  I am blaming this on summer and all the outdoor activities and responsibilities.   Off to do some of those responsibilities...then to work on denim jackets for my nieces.   I did finally get the nerve to submit work for a jury at my University.  A show for alumni...find out in a couple weeks.  Of course the show opening is while I will be out of the country vacating or as European friends say...on holiday.

So thankful for the weekend, but the responsibilities of adulthood require me to do icky adult things like...yard work. No real complaints here as we have had so much rain that the sunshine and mildly warm weather is a welcome.  So I will work outside today as rain is predicted tomorrow. I have several pieces to post, and hope to this evening.  I have a new camera which makes a world of difference. Wishing everyone a magnificiently creative weekend...my creativity is going outside for awhile.
